I originally saw these handsome iPad cases, that use hardback book bindings, on Daily Candy and loved that they were locally designed. They were being sold at http://www.3rdstreetsale.com/ this past weekend and I bought one for a Christmas gift. I just found out that they have cool exterior colors designed exclusively for J. A friend posted a pic of the Harry Potter version of this pillow on fb and it solved my dilemma of what to get my sister for her birthday this year. She is both a Harry Potter freak and an Etsy fanatic so this is just too perfect. The shipping was very expensive because it’s coming from Canada. But the seller was willing to only charge me $5 s/h for the 2nd pillow which softened the blow a bit.

0039 Italy Hillary Eve Patch New Blouse - $212

I’ve never heard of this label but found it at Iniam in Oakland. The tiny, metal bead chain detailing at the buttons drew me in. The fabric has a hint of stretchiness to it which helps keep it wrinkle-free. It’s so comfortable, yet chic. I love the play on the classic button-down shirt. The manufacturer’s site says that they were formed in “2001 with a very simple objective: to recreate the blouse, make it less conventional and more fashionable—jazz it up a bit”.
